• The Christian Köster New Talent Award is awarded to the best unrealized film idea.
• The submission phase begins on July 3rd and ends on August 25th, 2023.
• Any aspiring creatives with a particular talent for directing can submit their film idea for a commercial, social spot, music video, branded short, documentary, webisodes, or any independent film concept for the Christian Köster New Talent Award.
• The top 10 will be nominated and invited to a live pitch in Hamburg (in the "Pferdestall").
• Each nominee will have 7 minutes to persuade the independent expert jury of their idea.

• The winner will receive €20,000 to realize their concept in collaboration with the German Advertising Film Academy.

Entitled to participate are individuals as well as teams.

Yes, if you have less than 1 year of professional experience and/or have completed no more than 3 commissioned projects as a director.

Present your idea clearly in a PDF. Keep in mind: Sometimes less is more! If you'd like to include an explanatory video, please send us a link. Each participant is allowed a maximum of 3 ideas.
